Baby Makes Three!

We're going to have a BABY! Praise God for this blessing! We are due at the end of August; so I'm almost halfway through the pregnancy. I've felt so good so far — only very minor morning sickness that lasted for a few weeks in the second month. Nothing to grumble over. Ben and I are pouring over baby names...boy names are coming easier than girl names...is that a sign? I'm really feeling like it will be a girl, but Ben is sure it's a boy, although both of us will take either one! We are not going to have an ultrasound to find out the gender of our baby—we want to be surprised!

Home Birth! After much prayer and consideration, Ben and I together decided to have our baby at home. We've chosen an awesome Christian midwife and are scheduled to have our first appointment with her in a week. I'll let you know how it goes!

Meanwhile, I'm starting to pooch out a little! However, I can still fit into my normal jeans, but they are getting a little snug. I'm thinking I have another month before I'll have to resort to maternity clothes. My sister Melissa and friend Shanna handed me down some of their maternity apparel; they are so thoughtful and generous! Now I won't have to spend a fortune on a new wardrobe!

I love being pregnant!
