~ Liam ~
I especially love how this boy cuddles; he's so loveable.
Rocking him at nap time and in the evenings are so precious;
I know this stage doesn't last forever.
Each day Liam wears an eye patch for a few hours to strengthen his weak eye. After several days of practice, he finally is used to it and doesn't rip it off in the first five minutes! He'll wear the patch for several months, then we go back for another evaluation to see how he's doing. Step-by-step!
Through a life built upon prayer, we learn to transfer our burdens onto Christ's capable shoulders — and when He carries our burdens, we are free to run and not grow weary; to walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40)

He IS darling!!! That top picture is soooo nice! I am glad he is doing so well!!! Love you!
He looks so like his siblings in the top picture. He is really growing up! I hope his eye heals very well!
Oh my goodness, Mindy! He is the sweetest thing ever! I just want to cuddle him too!
Such a handsome young man he is becoming! Thanks for the Liam update. I see quite a resemblance to Ella's baby pics:) When I was growing up, by brother had a patch and glasses at age 2. He'd bury the glasses in our neighbors' sandboxes. It became a neighborhood treasure hunt!
He's such a cutie! Looks more like his brother all the time. Ali's little friend Marlee, who just turned 5, wears a patch too and Ali asked one time why she wears it and it is to strengthen her weak eye. She also has cute little glasses she wears. I didn't realize that the patch thing works for such little tykes--that's great! I don't know if I would be quite so successful at keeping my kids from ripping it off!

Hi Mindy! I've been sporadically following your blog for a few years now, since finding your courtship story on the YLCF website. Your love for Jesus, your husband, and your darling children shines through in everything you write. Blessings!
