Caron Family Christmas eNewsletter!

Merry Christmas!

Part of celebrating Christmas for us is looking back over the year and reflecting on how the Lord has blessed us. Here's a bit of our year in review:

On September 26th, the Lord blessed us with a son! We named him Elijah Kenneth (his middle name after his Grandpa Ken Berge, whose birthday is also Sept. 26th!). Elijah weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz. and was 22 inches long. He is a very happy baby, and now at 3 months old, is already pushing 17 pounds! He gets that from his Daddy.... :)

Elianna celebrated her 1st birthday on August 13th and is growing up so fast! She is Elijah's second little mother. She loves to kiss him, hold him, wipe his drool, and sneak him a bit of cookie now and then. At times you might call it "overbearing," but we know her heart means well! :) She brings so much delight to us.

With the blessing of children comes the great responsibility of training these little ones "in the way they should go." We are discovering the joy of parenting and finding it a great privilege, consistent hard work, and an awesome opportunity knowing we are investing in eternal souls! We have found a new book called, Family Driven Faith, to be a great encouragement to us as we strive to be the best parents we can be - only by God's grace!

Ben continues to run his Country Financial agency in Bemidji, and enjoys working with people. He now has a longer drive to work each morning since we moved from our house in town to a new home 10 miles east of Bemidji. Ben especially loves our new life in the country...it means hunting in our back yard! He was able to shoot three deer this year and didn't have to drive anywhere!

Mindy has found that being a wife and mommy is a full-time job, but she continues to advance her home based graphic and web design business, Vineyard Design Works. She also recently started a discipleship group for young ladies called Bright Lights. At a Bright Lights meeting the girls learn Biblical principles, participate in activities, and have formal tea!

We pray each of you will enjoy your time together with your family this Christmas! Pause and thank God for all His blessings upon you. Especially for sending Jesus to earth, to die in your place, and thus giving you the ultimate gift - eternal life in heaven with Him! Glory to God in the Highest!

Love you all!

Joyfully in Christ,
Ben, Mindy, Elianna, and Elijah
