My most romantic husband took me canoeing the other night! It was beautiful (the photos don't do justice), and seeing Ben row the canoe reminded me of another night not so long ago...the night we got engaged on Lake Bemidji! What sweet memories!
As I was buying a wedding gift for a friend yesterday, I was thinking back before Ben and I were married—so many people told us that our first year of marriage was going to be hard and a major adjustment. Well, I am here to tell you that this year has been nothing more than blissful! There have been times of growing, but even those I look back on as good! I love being married and I know I will look back in years to come and treasure the memories we've made this first year!

Beautiful pictures Mindy and Ben! I think the reason you guys are having such a blissful first year of marriage is beacause you are so committed to the Lord and honoring Him. He promises that if we commit our way to Him He will establish our path.
I echo your thoughts about the first year! We figured that there would be real struggles and while we had the times of workign thru things, there never was those "really rough" times that we were told to expect.
Another note from the Lord that when we seek to honor Him in ALL our lives, we will far exceed mans expectations!!
